P2032 - Particle emission filter temperature sensor

Post by Nego2403 »

I have a Peugeot 508 which has error P2032. It says short circuit to earth. Is the sensor faulty? I've looked at the temp readings and the sensor seems to work properly.
Do someone know what the prerequisites are for this error to pop up?

It may be the Pre-catalyst downstream exhaust gas temperature sensor signal. I can't see the last part of the VIN in your picture.

Follow the wiring from the sensor itself, They are normally clipped into the exhaust heatshield & it can chafe & cut into the wiring where it sits in the clips. Worth a check before going any further.
