Questions about c5x7 hydractive pump

Hi all, not been on for a while mainly because the c5 has been fine.

I was keeping an eye on the hydractive pump ,(BHI unit) and wonder how long it will be before it decides to stop working Still OK but beginning to get a 6th sense tingle about it...

In addition to the fuses I read somewhere there's a big fuse that blows if there's a major fault in the motor/ pump. Would anyone know where this is located?

I'd like to remove the pump motor to clean the brushes of the carbon that builds up. Is this task straightforward? Can the motor be removed from the BHI easily enough?
