Citroen C3 1.4l 2007 weird issue

So I just acquired a new automobile four days ago and I already have a major problem. This issue occurred today. When I start my automobile, it shuts down rapidly unless I hit the gas pedal or get fortunate. The engine also misfires. RPM hovers around 500 and occasionally exceeds 1000. The radio no longer starts on its own, and when I put on something electrical (fan, lamps, etc.), the car drops to 0 RPM and shuts off. The digital panel says "Anti Pollution Problem," and the engine light on the dashboard would not go away. If I rev the engine, it continues to flicker. Please help.

By engine light do you mean the yellow EML light or the red Charging light?

If you are getting a flat spot, stalling on returning to idle, a lack of power, unstable idling then this can mean a faulty engine speed sensor or the teeth of the speed sensor target, but you really first need to have the vehicle diagnosed for any fault codes that may be present.
