Peugeot Boxer 2.2 HDI 110hp 2015 New DPF and vaporiser
Hi, I replaced DPF and a vaporiser few days ago. I had been driving my van on a limp mode for few days before the repair. Should other settings - apart from “new DPF” - on ECU be changed ? There are no faults lights on the dashboard and the engine, oil, coolant, turbine are working fine but I noticed that during a longer run, lots of white smoke was coming out from the exh for more than 15 minutes. It smelled like ash being burned out and the new dpf was much more hotter than normally. I presume that it is the rest of the exhaust being cleared but why the burning out process started anyway? It happened twice within two days after the replacement of dpf without any light or info on the dashboard.
