Morning all.
Hoping some knowledgeable person could offer some advice. My C5 had an overheating issue some time ago, caused I think by a coolant leak (no low level warning) coupled with the cooling fan failing at the same time. Since then, possibly due to the overheating caused by the initial incident, various plastic components have failed in turn throughout the cooling system, causing further overheating episodes.
2 questions really:
1. Could somebody point out the bleeding points in the entire system? I know there's one on the heater hose by the bulkhead and one on the thermostat housing (new housing fitted). A diagram would be greatly appreciated.
2. Cooling fan is running constantly even in temperatures close to freezing. Any idea why?
Thanks in advance for any help
Chris
