Bumping noise from suspension.
the noise is onlt evident when a sharp bump in roadway is hit. Sounds like when the tyre is hit with a rock, not a metallic sound. Left front suspension.

Welcome to the forum, they only way to find the problem is to check all you rubber bushes on the front suspension with a lever looking for excessive movement.
Very difficult to diagnose the problem with the limited info provided.

The early c3's were a little prone to snapping the suspension springs but thats quite easy to spot so my first guess would be one of the ball joints being worn on the antiroll bar linkage.
