Hi guys,
Any advice welcome. I had a new battery fitted and now i have a problem. The car started fine when i picked it up but after parking it overnight it opens fine but nothing at all when you press the starter button. Keep pressing multiple times and eventually it will fire. After that it works as it should until left for 8 hours or longer. Battery is fully charged, checked before trying to start, alternator is changing, key batteries are new. Diagnostic by garage who fitted battery shows no fault codes. When you do get it started in the morning the low battery warning flashes on for a million second then goes away. Correct battery for the car. Just crazy. Citroen no help and want silly money to look at it.
So any ideas.

Hiya, what car is this on? There might be a BSI reset for the model that might help this.

Thank you, i will give it a try later. Just one question, does it have to be the negative terminal as you have to remove a fair few things to get to it including the positive. Cheers

Re: Strange fault
Hi guys, sorry its been so long. I did a BSI reset and all good. But only run the car a few miles a day. I found that when i take it for a nice long run at the weekend the battery warning flashes on again. Does this for a few days then all ok. Next long run it does it again. Car runs fine but this is so annoying. Any more ideas. Cheers.
