I hope someone smarter than me can help! This afternoon the internal heating / AC fan on our 2016 C4 Grand Picasso refused to switch off. I turned it on to clear the windows but now it will not switch off, even after the engine is switched off. We still have some control over airflow (but not much), and the same for temperature, but the fan is constantly blowing air into the car.

When the engine is switched off the fan continues to blow for just over two minutes before switching off. And the fans starts again the moment the car is unlocked.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The ventilation fan will not shut down until the ecu powers down after 3 mins. unable to adjust the speed, the fan powers up when the car is unlocked. had it dia ag checked at a garage with a snap on tool alas it showed no faults. Any help would be most helpful Steve.

If you are saying the fan is on constantly when the vehicle is started, and won't change speed, it may likely be your Blower Motor Control Module that needs replacing.

HI Have the same problem, showing no faults on the diag, however had to take it to a citroen[ dealer it was the ventilation control module Citroen part number 9821291880 control module Retail at 131.02 plus vat

Yes, that is actually the Heater / Blower Motor Control Module that I mentioned earlier.

I have similar problem, but my fan can be adjusted, I can change speed of fan, and direction, temp etc, but when I turn it off fan never stop (it is going on same speed as auto)

I bought one made by NRF (it is identical as original DENSO), but it wont start a fan. Is it possible its not working because it is not genuine or it could be other fault.

We see a lot of this sort of thing here - non-genuine parts are often faulty or just don't work.
