Xsara Picasso - Heater Control Panel Lighting Issue

Unread post by SteveH1908 »

Hi, the lighting behind the heater control panel in my Xsara Picasso has stopped working. A month or so back I successfully replaced the 3 bulbs behind the climate control window, which is now working fine, just that the lighting for the actual panel (e.g. to alter the temperature setting, rear demister, direction of air flow, etc) no longer illuminates. Is this fixable (i.e. can the same type of bulbs be used that illuminated the climate control window)? Or, do I need to source a replacement heater control panel and hope that illuminates? Many thanks, Steve.

Thanks for the info. When I replaced the bulbs for the climate control panel, these were easy to access. Looking at the full heater control panel from behind it would appear to access the actual bulbs for the heater control panel this would need to be taken apart to access the bulbs. Does this seem right? Cannot see any other way of accessing the bulbs in question to replace them.
