harsh ft suspension

the front of my zx 16v has been lowered -55mm on springs alone
so i get nice handling yet a comfortable ride. its been done now for about 3 months but lately ive noticed a deterioration in the ride and a little bit of knocking wen the front rises on take off and dips on stoping!! does anyone know of this??

could be bushes or it could just be that the springs are not sitting right.

Either the struts(shock-absorbers) have started to go, or its the droplinks. But which? This is always the problem, can be an expensive guessing game. Droplinks are cheaper and easier to fit.

If the shocks are still a citroën part, could be it.
When a suspension is lowered, the shocks should be changed to accomodate the "new" suspension travel zone. Otherwise, they will wear out ver rapidly...

lowering a car that much bits a lot more strain on other bits as well like the driveshafts, lower arm bushes etc
