Hi All,
Recently purchased a C5 after having a Xantia for 15 odd years. I have to say it really nice to drive and a great peace of kit.
I've noticed that the switch in the boot on the right, to raise/lower the height doesn't seem to be working. any ideas on where to start with fault finding ?
Thank you all.

A diagnostic with Diagbox.
This may provide some fault codes. But be warned, if you are having any suspected issues with height correctors, please don't get under the vehicle unless it is independently supported as these can suddenly and without warning crash down and bottom out crushing you - even without the engine running.

Just a thought: I thought mine wasn't working as the switch seemed to do nothing. I then tried it with the engine off and voila! It works!

I think you'll find it is designed to work with the engine off, otherwise it would be trying to correct the load height constantly.

Just tried it with the engine off and it didn't work. maybe a faulty switch?

Re: C5 Tourer 2010 exclusive Boot Height switch
It may be battery related - as in if the car is in economy mode it may have disabled the pump. A similar thing occurs with the motorised tailgate on Tourer models - when the battery is in poor health, this can prevent the electronic opening and closing of the tailgate.
How old is the battery? If 5 years or over it probably needs changing on the C5.
You could try charging the battery (follow the BSI Reset / Battery Disconnect / Reconnect Procedure if disconnecting the battery, and see if that solves it.
