Driver's heated mirror - any chance at a dealer?

Unread post by Moog »

Hi,

My driver's wing mirror has been damaged beyond repair :(

I've tried all the local breakers but they have the wrong model or the mirrors were badly cracked when I went to collect.

Ordered a new aftermarket one from FleaBay and the mirror has limited adjustment so I can only see the rear passenger door - they've refunded me.

The mirror has electric adjustment and is heated - 2001 MK1 1.6 petrol with black plastic (not colour-coded).

My local Citroen dealer never answers the phone and I suspect the mirror won't be available now.... In the past they'd usually choke on their coffee when I mentioned the car's age.

Despite it's age, the car is mint so my gaffer-tape repair looks minging.

Many thanks!
