It does come as standard with the Picasso in the UK, but will also be available as an 'spare part' from a dealer.
Maybe you can get your local dealer to search in the spare parts database.
Also note that it came as 'standard' equipment in my Berlingo Multispace. Can you get those in Aus?

Why would you want one? I have never seen anyone use one of them.

Dad has never used his, but if he part exchanged it I bet the dealer would knock £100 off if it is missing!
Also, when you change a radio, keep the original because the replacement isn't worth any extra at P/X time.

I don't know if it helps but there's one on E-bay if you search under Xsara. Has a couple of days left and I think it's world wide postage. Sorry no price.

My reaction was to throw it away, bloody stupid thingy! However I have found that it is the ideal way to keep the chinese and/or curry upright in the boot.

The only thing that concerns me is if the bag leaks.....
88 BX 1.7 Diesel Turbo now gone
PICASSO 1.6 HDi 92 - time will tell!
83 TR7 conv never welded yet!
96 Fiesta 1.25 x 2
87 VW GTI waiting cam belt (no time)
