Folks, I went to start my 2017 Citroen Spacetourer the other day and instead of the HUD smoothly rising there was a mechanical grinding noise and then the partly open HUD doors shut. Have any of you experienced this problem?

Check you haven't got an object that has slid into the recess from the dash that is causing it to jam and the gears to grind. You may need an extendable mirror and look at it through the outside of the windscreen to see.
