Hello
I bought a second-hand Expert E7 taxi and I love it. However, I managed to get a towel stuck in the kerb-side rear sliding-door and now I am unable to open the door. Because of this, the taxi cannot be MOT'd.
My question is this. Do any of the controls in the cab lock the side-doors preventing them from being opened- bit like a child-lock?
Regards

Normally pressing the UNLOCK button on the key fob once opens the front doors, pressing it a second time unlocks the side and the rear doors. The middle button on the fob unlocks the rear load door at the back.

Where exactly is the towel stuck? There are some electrical contacts on the back of the B pillar. Maybe this is stopping the contact for the lock motors.
If I remember right E7’s auto lock when in motion but unlock when stationary.

Thanks for the reply.
The towel managed to cover the contacts so no power was getting through. Had to give the van to a garage to fix. Not sure what they did but if it is a mechanical fix, I will post the answer.
