Help needed - Peugeot Planet - Anti Pollution Fault

Unread post by BonzoWR2 »

Hi all,

The other half's 57 plate 207 (1.6 petrol auto) has thrown up the dreaded anti pollution fault. Happened about a month back, and local garage have had it in and recommended stripping the engine and replacing the timing chain, at a cost of £800. I'm really uneasy about it to be honest, on the basis that their diagnostics kit wasn't Peugeot Planet, and they have openly said they're not 100% sure it would work, meaning I could spend all that cash for the fault still to remain...

Does anybody have Peugeot Planet software in the Worcester area please? Obviously I'd pay for the service and willing to travel. Car is booked in at garage again for Monday, but would really like to plug in to Peugeot Planet to find hopefully a more accurate result to give the garage before it costs me lots of money on Monday.

Thank in advance.

Have a look at our list of members who have offered Lexia / Peugeot Planet / Diagbox Diagnostics help if you haven't already seen it - link below:

At the end of the list is a link to a Google Map, showing the geographic locations of members and details. Just use the Private Message or Email links on the member's profile to contact anyone suitable.

Bear in mind, although we update the list as often as we can, not all members are active on the Forum all the time, so it may take a while for a reply.
Please note, I'm no longer active on the Forum, so won't respond to messages.
