Have been reading through forum, but couldn't find fault like mine. I got C4GP 2009 1.6HDI semi-automatic. VIN VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]. Today was driving through town, engine warm when suddenly I got Engine management system fault, then parking brake fault, ESP/ASR fault.Stopped car with engine running when got gearbox fault and engine was running with higher revs than usual, couldn't select any gears. Turned engine off for 3min, all the faults were gone, drove for around 1mile, selected cruise control and faults came back again, but no gearbox fault this time. Once I got home after few minutes all the faults gone, but during school run came back once I accelerated. Apart from CC everything is working fine, even parking brake. Run diagnostic with diagbox and these fault codes came up P1351
P0615, P1462, P0223, P2137, P1728, P0220, P1394, U1208. Now service light will stay on constantly. Cleared all faults, did global check again 2 faults only this time P0222 Accelerator pedal Signal 1, Permanent fault and P0220. Checked accelerator pedal connector and it's fine. Once engine started all the rest of the faults came back. Also had blocked front drains last week, so not sure if possible water damage somewhere? Has anyone has had similar situation? Or somebody could point where to look for electrical diagrams or where other end of plug plugs in so I can do continuity check.
Thank you in advance.

Re: C4GP
P0222 is a fault with the accelerator pedal. The accelerator sensor has 2 tracks that are compared with each other for consistency of data. Track 1 of your sensor is reporting a short circuit to earth or value too low (98 mV) For 200 ms.
When this fault is showing the following downgrade modes are present:
The suspect areas are:
When this fault is showing the following downgrade modes are present:
- Minimum open position of the motorised throttle housing (Regulation of the engine speed to 1250 rpm)
- Inhibiting of the accelerator pedal programming 0%
- Switching to the "easy move" strategy manual mode (Electric parking brake)
- Cutting of the "exhaust heat recovery" function
The suspect areas are:
- Electrical harness
- Accelerator pedal sensor
- Engine ECU

Re: C4GP
Here's the Injection Diagram for your vehicle.
1261 is the Accelerator which contains the sensor with a 6 pin brown plug connector.
I've listed the wiring connections for you - pins are on the diagram.
Wires
1380 : + 5 volt accelerator pedal position indicator power supply
1378 : Accelerator pedal 2 position info
1466 : accelerator pedal 2 position earth
731 : accelerator pedal point of resistance / signal
1379 : accelerator pedal position earth
1377 : Accelerator pedal 1 position info
