Hello all!
Over the years I've had the odd few people knock on the door asking whether my Xantia is for sale (or for scrap), but lately it seems to be happening more and more frequently. Is anybody else having this kind of issue? It's starting to get me a bit worried that one day I'll come home from work in my C5 and see the Xantia's been stolen or taken at the very least. It's tucked away on my driveway, taxed insured and MOT'd, so it's not like it's in anybody's way and in a state.
Thanks for looking, hoping to kind of put my mind at ease but we'll see!
Dom.

Re: 'Cold callers' asking to buy your cars
Hi Dom,
All I can say is having had a classic car of one sort or another parked outside for the last 15 years I have never had a cold call approach in Hertford!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

It might be the CATs they are after, scarp value is high I imagine due to WW3 being on the cards too.
why?

Just me then!
I wish I knew why, I assumed it was due to people wanting the car as scrap, which does concern me that one day I'll come home to a missing car, but hopefully not. And for the record I don't live in a dive of a location!
Hopefully nothing happens, just have to keep batting them away if I get more queries over it.
Thanks for the replies folks, Dom.
