I have had to take my car to the garage for problems with the ABS sensors, whilst fault codes being checked I was advised that the following fault codes had been thrown out as well
B0091 Side impact sensor, left front open circuit
B0091 Side impact, left front internal fault
B00D5 Display for deactivation of airbag passenger side malfunction
I have owned the car since 2019 never crashed, had a scuff with a carpark column, bit nothing more and airbags never deployed. The car was MOTd in December and nothing mentioned. I remember not long after buying the car a few times an error message would come up for passenger airbag/ seatbelt pretensioner fault, but only happened a handful of times and totally forgot about it.
Can anyone shed some light on the issue, how I might be able to resolve the issue, or if not myself who best to take it to i.e. auto electrician etc
Thanks

Re: Help with Fault Codes B0091 & B00D5
ABS wheel sensor issues will give specific fault codes for the particular sensor (location), so that should be relatively simple, but the side impact sensors are stored in the pillars IIRC and these are for the curtain and side airbags.
The front and rear collision detection is performed by an acceleration sensor in the airbag ECU.
So it is important to determine which component or wiring to any component is at fault first of all and those codes don't correspond with Citroen diagnostic codes unfortunately. It really needs diagnosing with Lexia / Diagbox or the dealer can diagnose it for you for a charge.
Have a look at our list of members who have offered Lexia / Peugeot Planet / Diagbox Diagnostics help if you haven't already seen it - link below:

Hi senor07 and
to the forum.
On the list Marc has linked you to, you will find Paul_R who lives in the Wirral too. You'll be hard pressed to find a nicer bloke so give him a PM and see what happens!! (Apart from him shooting me for writing this of course!

Re: Help with Fault Codes B0091 & B00D5
I had some help from the immense Paul-R, who read the codes and cleared many of them off! I have had the passenger airbag/ Seatbelt pretensioner error appear again. The codes that were spat out by the Lexia at the time relating to the faults were as follows:
B0091 13 Left-hand side satellite line fault
Cause - Local
Status - Temporary
Characteristics of fault - Short Circuit to positive or circuit open
B0091 96 Left-hand side satellite line fault
Cause - Local
Status - Temporary
Characteristics of fault -Satellite internal fault
B00D5 67 Fault Passengers airbag deactivation LED
Cause - Local
Status - Temporary
Characteristics of fault - Not Characterised
Would anyone be able to assist in which item/s need attention and if it is doable at home or requires auto-electrician etc
Thanks
Rich
