My 407 doesn't have heated seats so I bought a set of heated leather seats to replace mine. All connectors seem to fit, except for a 6 pin connector which my car has, but was not connected to the old seats and is not wired correctly for the new seats.
On the new seats, pins 2, 4, 5 are populated. This cable splits and takes 2 different paths. One goes to a small box PN: 9638053380 and then 2 cables go from this box into the back of the seat. The other one goes to the seat heating switch.
On the connector that my car has, pins 1, 3, 4 are populated.
How do I wire this correctly?

Re: 407 heated seats wiring
You probably haven't got the correct wiring harness(s) for this option.
There were a multitude of seating and belt harnesses depending on options and these were different for manual, electric and for modular seat adjustment and heated / non heated versions.

Re: 407 heated seats wiring
I found the diagram for the right harness with the correct connector for my new seats. Pin 2,4,5 are connected here.
Pin 2 seems to be negative, pin 4 earth and pin 5 positive. So if I connected:
New seats | My wiring harness
pin 2 (white, thin) | pin 1 (yellow, thin)
pin 4 (green and yellow, thick) | pin 4 (green and yellow, thick)
ping 5 (orange/red, thick) | pin 3 (light blue, thick) - from what I red should be ignition live
What do you I think, would this be fine? Success or fried BSI?

Re: 407 heated seats wiring
Update in case anyone stumbles onto this thread looking for an answer. Connecting everything as described above worked perfectly. I didnt' have to change any fuses or do any BSI reprogamming, the seat heating just works as it's supposed to. The 3 heating levels work as they should, the heating turns off when there is no ignition, nothing caught on fire (yet)

Re: 407 heated seats wiring
I am performance the same upgrade.
From non heated Seats tot heated Seats.
I bought heated Seats from a 407 coupe en are buts putting them in my 407 sedan.
After removing my original Seats I noticed the connectors are completely different. So it is not plug and play
.
I do have the end of the cable from the coupe. World it be most easy to just Connect the wires and use the coupe’s connectors? Any wiring diagram so I know how to Connect?
TIA
Paul.
