Is there anyway to turn off automatic handbrake engagement with Diagbox ?

Hello, I'm looking for option in Diagbox to turn off automatic handbrake engagement on every engine stop ? It is really annoying, especially winter. The car is Citroen C5, 2.2, 2011 MY.

According to my handbook it can be switched off without using Diagbox.

If you don't have this option then it might not be available in your country. In which case a Diagbox will probably be needed.

It can't be done on Diagbox, as there's no option to switch this off as far as I can see from the BSI configuration - it's part of the EPB and ESP Operation. The only way was to use the in-car dash menu, BUT, if I recall, as happened to me, the option was also removed on later BSI software updates, so if you've had your BSI updated then the option may be removed from the menu. There was another issue with a configuration of the locking function options going missing - which I had to restore.

My car doesn't have option to be turned off via dash menu, that's why I'm asking for possibility to use Diagbox, as is written in manual - "....this can be done by a Citroen dealer...".
Thank you for your help. Will try to look for appropriate settings in BSI with Diagbox. Just hopes that somebody already done it and looking for directions.

As Paul said, it may be dependent upon Country as to what options are and are not available, but all the options I have seen in the BSI are simply to do with the Hill Start Assist which is always set to enables for EPB versions.
