508 Auto Wiper / Lights Issue

On another topic I don't suppose you would know where the day/night sensor is my lights are always on when set to auto also my wipers stay on intermediate when on auto I don't know if the 2 are related. Thanks

Thank-you so the vin is VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff] the problem is that when I put my wipers on auto they stay intermediate whether its raining or not and my auto lights stay on if its day or night. Thanks

So best thing you can do is get it diagnosed with Diagbox, as you may have a problem with the control module in the steering wheel which is responsible for both systems. It can't be any of the fuses as the lights and the wipers are working, so likely to be something in the aforementioned module or the CAN communication from the module to the other systems like the BSI, engine fusebox or supplies unit.
