C5 X7 Third Brake Light

Ill go a head and order those together with the clutch. Waiting for the Lexias to come in - the friend going to do this clutch change, is going to nead one too =)

Do you know anything of the third brake light fault? If its the light it self or wiring to the trunk lid or perhaps the brake switch?

My first thoughts would be to do with the wiring at the aperture where it comes into the tailgate. It's a common spot for breaks.
