Ok guys,
Another problem i've discoverd this afternoon whilst doing the rear disk and pads.
Some gimp has manged to snap off the Elyos fluid tank's outlet Union.. the One that injects the fluid into the fuel tank with a very thin plastic/nylon pipe attached, broke off right at the elbow's outlet so not gonna be an easy fix. The electrical connector located above the elbow looks to have also been tampered with too.
How the hell am i gonna repair It? I'm pretty sure that the tank Is empty and has been for years as the Tiny bore pipe has this liquid incrusted around the snapped bit.
What's the long term damage It could cause if i can't repair It and run without this liquid? Will the regen process still be carried out?
Any advice?
Cheers.

Regeneration can only happen naturally if the exhaust gasses reach a temperature of about 550 °C, otherwise with assisted regeneration, they only need to reach about 450 °C.
However, I suspect, based on what you have said, that somebody may have tried to cripple the DPF system, as you would be getting low additive level warnings on the display and 'risk of particle filter clogging' messages.
I would have it checked, as if you have not been getting warnings I think somebody has probably removed the DPF internally and had the ECU altered as well as crippling the additive pipe feed. So before attempting to resolve the broken pipes, I would actually get it checked to see if the DPF is still there - it could be expensive to fix if it has been removed. In the UK and many places in Europe the cars have to undergo roadworthiness and emissions tests before the vehicle is allowed on the roads. I don't know what you have in Italy, but there should be some checks. I would expect the emissions to fail on smoke tests if nothing else....

Re: Elyos fluido ank connector..
Hi matey, thanks for the quick answer.
Today i changed the turbocharger, FAP Is present and works fine, i Hope.. My main problem Is fixing that Bloody snapped off connector pipe that's got a bore of 4mm so replacing the connector Is gonna be a challenge.
The problem Is that i can't find a new Quick release 4mm barbed connector, they are all 6/8/10mm.
Anyone know were i could buy a 4mm male barbed version from?
