Went on holiday for 3 weeks. Came back and heater is not blowing anything. It was fine when i went away. The dials all show ok and i have checked all the fuses and they are ok.
It is a right hand drive.
I have tried looking on the forum for information as to where the blower unit and resistor are located but it all seems to be for older c5.
I have taken off the cover under the glove box and a side panel on the passenger side but cant see these. Any help would be appreciated.
My VIN is VF7**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff].
I have a C5 X7 2.0 auto (2009) heater not working

I think you are referring to the Heater Blower Control Module which is the main control for the fan blower speed. Ignore the Heating Resistance, that is separate and provides supplementary heating for the cabin in cold temperatures for help with demisting.
What can happen is that moisture / water that is left in the system can cause the blower motor bearings to seize if the car is left for any length of time. As the climate control system is designed to slowly spin up and increase fan speed in stages as the engine starts to heat up, there often won't be enough power to free the motor when it starts on the slower speeds. Either this or the HCBM has totally failed.
