New to this forum so I hope this is the wright place for my Q.
I helped my sister replace a bad ball joint and unfortunately pulled out the drivshaft to far resulting in too much gearoil on the floor
The car is a Citroen C3 year 2014 (CITRO?N C3 II (SC) 1.2 VTi 82 Petrol 82 hk )
If I understand it wright it is importent to use the correct oil. Is it importent to use exactly the same as it is in the car or is it poosible to top up with onother brand if you would choose to top up? I do not want to fill it up. I am just curious of how the professionals do if this happens.
I found here a link too aproved engine and gearbox oil.
Can I replace this that I fond (TOTAL TRANSMISSION BV 75W80) with this, TOTAL TRANSMISSION, GEAR 8
I found what i think is the drain screw and the level plug (see pictures below). In that video they say you should fill in the level plug until it comes out oil.
Is this correct? How much oil do I need?
Thanks for all help!
