Hello friends
I am trying to disassemble this unit to repair a button and some light bulbs. Disassembly is quite simple, but I got stuck in one part of the process.
The volume button (potentiometer) prevents the card from being removed (as you can see in the video). The board is completely loose but, because of the volume button, it doesn't come out.
Can anyone help me. I don't want to break anything
Thank you!

Re: Xantia radio PU-1562A Disassembly help
This is just a guess, but surely, I would of thought the volume button would just pull off like most other units? I don't know this for sure, but if you think about it they would never of been able to assemble this in the first place unless the button just pushed on after the board was first fitted on the inside, as there is no way for the button to fit from the inside through to the outside.....
I would use some small plastic trim tools or small flat head screwdrivers to evenly lift the button off.

I thought exactly like you too. And obviously this makes a lot of sense.GiveMeABreak wrote: ↑21 Jan 2022, 12:07 This is just a guess, but surely, I would of thought the volume button would just pull off like most other units? But when it comes to French cars, I always prefer to reconfirm lol lol lol
It's just because of the enormous concern of not breaking anything that I can't replace later.
Thank you very much!
