What CD Changer goes with RNEG, Peugeot 308

Good day!

Welcome everyone, it's my first post here, hope to stay for long as it seems like a very noob-friendly place.

I own Peugeot 308 2010 with RNEG, since I'm kinda oldschool I'd like to pair a CD Changer with it. My question is - what model of OEM changer goes with my head unit and where in the car is it mounted??? Owner's Manual says that changer can be used and controlled via RNEG but I failed to find a single picture online with RNEG + Changer combo in 308... (I guess it goes under the HU) like with does with RD4???)

Hi and welcome.

The 308 was offered with a CD Changer and where this was specified, it was fitted directly under the telematics unit like the RT4 or RD4 and above the heating controls. For vehicles without this, you'll probably find there may be a storage compartment or a shelf compartment in place. This is the only place it was ever mounted and needs to be compatible with the vehicle's electronic architecture.

Indeed I have a shelf between radio and cc panel and that was my guess for the placement of the changer. I guess the standard Blaupunkt CAN changer (often paired with RD4) will work once activated. Still - I've never seen RNEG and Changer combo. Ever.

No problem - Yes, very rare these days - the last time I had these were in my Xantia, C5 MK I and MK II.
