Quiery for peugeot 5008 2011 check if bar is on both sides

Hi,
Today i noticed that my passenger side wheel arch had a screw with nothing attached to it but the drivers side one this same screw has a bar attached to it, have attached pictures so it is easier to understand, does anyone know if this is normal?

I have heard of this where there is a fixing point for something related to the steering. To save on manufacturing costs the fixing point is on both sides of the bodyshell (so you have a universal shell), but the related item only uses the fixing point related to which side the steering wheel is on.

If i remember right this is completely normal & a left hand drive model has one at the opposite side.
