Hi I've a 2016 cirteon relay 2.2 hdi the timming chain has broke while driving will this do much damage to the head ???

Id imagine it will be in quite a bad way, bare minimum i would think at least half the valves possible broken camshafts, theres no way to tell the full extent of the damage without a full strip down.
Timing chains generally dont just break with no warning signs, was the engine sounding rattly?

No just broke I've most of is took apart cam box of the cams r dead on just need to take the head of in the morning fingers crossed

Does this engine have sacrificial rockers? The earlier ones do, they will break instead of the valves and are much easier to replace as you don't have to remove the head.
