Coding Injector Peugeot 308 2012 1.6 HDi

Post by deep87 »

Good evening all!

I have recently replaced my injector number 3 in my car and I wanted to code it using DiagBox and the Lexia cable i have (cheaper chinese one).

I get to this screen and then I get a big confused:

Now I drove 2 rounds last night trying to follow the instructions....first round I went without the laptop connected. Then I thought this does not seem right. So for the 2nd Round I kept the laptop hooked up but I didnt see any type of "live data" on the screen, just the screen with the above instructions.

Now, am I meant to keep the laptop connected to the car ODB2 interface whilst I follow the instructions?

I saw in another thread regarding a similar topic that DiagBox is meant to show live data as the coding is being performed?

Could someone be so kind and give me a bit of a step by step guide?

Thanks so much!

Can't help you with that but just observing that when I changed an injector on our 2015 Peugeot 308 1.6 Blue Hdi I had no such screen and all I had to do was change the coding for that written on the replacement injector.

ok fair enough, I've changed the coding to the new one but now my check engine light keeps flashing as I'm driving.

Ive tried to do the 2600rpm down to 1600rpm without touching the pedals whilst driving without the lexis connected about 3-4 times since a couple days but it doesn't seem to want to initialize.

I've been speeding up in 4the gear and then just letting go but I don't seem to be getting anywhere.

My car drives okish but I certainly feel the one injector missing.

Any help would be amazing!

Thinking back it did take a day or two for the engine to run properly. At the time I put that down to air in the fuel but maybe it was the engine ECU recalibrating something?

Interesting. Ive been driving to work and back (70 miles round trip) for the last couple of days and I have tried to program the injectors as instructions twice in the evenings as well.
I just got back now from a 25 minute drive going up and down the A road trying to program the injector.

I had a quick look into DiagBox after my drive and I still have the following:

I mean the car itself drives OK considering one of the injectors is basically disabled...but Ive heard/read this cant be too good for the engine. It starts up fine and idles relatively smoothly though.
