C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
Hi all, I need to replace the front brake hose on the X7 because the hose ends and banjo bolts are so corroded that you can't even identify them. I need to find replacement banjo bolts for the new hoses because I don't think you get new banjos with the hoses.
Does anyone know the size/thread and length of these banjos? Or if there is a part number from citroen.

No separate part no is listed, so presume (at least from Citroen) they come with the bolts.

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
Hi all, sorry to bump a bit of an old thread, but I have the same issue. The garage I've got my car at currently have the hoses but apparently don't have the banjo bolts for the calipers on all 4 corners, is there any chance anyone could point me in the right direction for these parts as the garage reckon that citroen don't supply these bolts any more? cheers

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
I assume we're talking about the C5 not the C4, in which case I'll need the VIN for this car.

Ok, only the pipes are sold by Citroen as has been mentioned above, but let me know which item number you need from the diagram, and I'll get you the part numbers.

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
I'm not sure that the bolts are listed on there. All I know is that the garage has told me it's the banjo bolt and copper washers that they need.
I guess looking closer it could be 70 or 71, I'm not entirely sure where they are located on the image though

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
Just to add, I think that the banjo bolt is an M10, I'm just unsure if that is correct, and if it is, what the correct length would be

Darn, those aren't the banjo bolts for the hose. Thanks for trying though, I appreciate it

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
As you have metallic suspension, you will have the TRW Calipers not the Teves. In case it helps here is a picture of the TRW calipers in case they are referring to the specific bolts and their torques:
*) Always to be replaced whenever removed
Here is the assembly side for both versions
| Reference | Designation | Tightening torque |
| (1) | bolts (Hose on caliper) | 4 daNm |
| (2) | bolts (Front brake caliper) (*) | 2,9 daNm |
| (3) | bleed screw(s) | 1 daNm |
| (4) | bolts (Front brake disc) | 1 daNm |
| (5) | bolts (Disc protector) | 1,2 daNm |
| (6) | bolts (Front brake caliper support) (*) | 11,5 daNm |
Here is the assembly side for both versions
| Reference | Designation | Tightening torque |
| (1) | nut(Disc protector) | 1,2 daNm |
| (2) | bolts (Wheel sensor harness support / Pivot) | 1,2 daNm |
| (3) | Union (Hose / Rigid pipe) | 1,5 daNm |
| (4) | bolts (Brake hose bracket / Pivot) | 2 daNm |
| (5) | bolts (Front brake disc protector) | 1,2 daNm |
| (6) | bolts (Front wheel sensor) | 0,8 daNm |
| (7) | bolts (Brake hose bracket / Wheel hub) | 1,2 daNm |

Re: C5 X7 front brake hose banjo bolts
It does sort of, the bolts I'm looking for are 1 in the first image. I'm just going to call the garage now to get them to double check if the hoses they have came with the bolts or not, because everywhere I'm looking, even the aftermarket hoses seem to come with those bolts
