Xantia MOT

Post by jvwykes »

Evening Citroen fans

Xantia has passed its MOT once again. Another year of classic Citroen motoring

Not a murmur of any emission issues, so I put that down to Dipetane every tank full

I have been meaning to write up about the PAS hose replacement on my HDi. Mine was looking like it was nearing the end of its useful life and was not 100% sold on the drill and tap refurbishment of the old hose. The unions were very rusty so looked for something I would be happy with.

Solution came from Denmark. A completely remanufactured pipe made by Autofrance.dk. Very professionally made, high quality replacement and no noticeable difference over the original part with power steering feel.

If you are looking for that impossible PAS part I would recommend John at Autofrance. Just a few days for delivery and it was on the car \:D/

Merry Christmas

regards

James
