Hello,
My iPod works in my wife's DS 4 but not in my DS 7. It says "media not recognised". It worked originally when the car was new but I have done all the updates via computer to the car and I suspect that it has been errored out. Can anybody confirm this please?
Chris

What's the infotainment system in DS4 and in DS7? Also the software versions would help to locate the culprit...
iPod used to work as Auxiliary input (via stereo jack) or trough CarPlay?

It'll be Connected Nav for the DS7.

Hello,
I don't know the software versions, but in the DS 7 they are the latest. The DS 7 doesn't have an auxillary input, otherwise this problem would not be here!

AUX inputs are a bit old tech now, with Bluetooth, CarPlay, Android Auto and the like. AUX also provides no control over the media device itself as it's only an audio input, so not good for driving as you still need to change tracks and control the media on the device.
I suspect you may just need to unpair, delete and re-pair you device and try again if it was originally working. Sometimes an Apple update can cause issues until they release another update. It's sometimes a reason to wait for a while before updating your phone or device software, until all the bugs have been reported. Staying on a working system can be better in many cases than updating and having problems that were not previously there.
