C8, 807, Dispatch or Expert Ball joint

Post by jml »

Hi,

If you need to replace a front suspension ball joint on a C8, 807, Dispatch or Expert, Citroen, Peugeot and the major component suppliers only seem to sell a complete suspension arm, including the ball joint.

It looks like the ball joint is pressed into place and it seems an awful waste to have to replace the whole arm. Does anyone know if any supplier sells the ball joint on its own ? I appreciate that pressing the joint out and the new one in will be a bit of a faff but I have all the necessary equipment.

Cheers

Have you tried looking on the GSF website? They do have a reasonable range of parts. Avoid Euro Car Parts. While some people have not had problems with ECP that is unusual.

Hi James,

Thanks for the suggestion. I had a look there but no joy, unfortunately.

Their complete suspension arms are nearly twice the price of febi ones from auto doc !

Cheers
