RNEG2 ON 307 2006 CAN PROBLEMS

Hi everyone, I assemble rt6 rneg2 on my 307 2006(CAN).

I perform some wiring issues about ensuring power up the screen.(I get 3 pin from 16 pin cable for screen)

End of the day, screen showed black screen and rt6 did not any response to my input, and there in not any sound from radio etc and continously sounds comes from cd exchanger unit of rt6.

Even ignition off position, cd exchanger sounds comes from rt6 unit.

Some of these units are not designed for earlier vehicles. You may not have the correct electrical architecture / BSI / Multiplexed Network for this system.

There are at least 2 versions of the RT6, and the AEE2010 versions use a CAN EV multiplexed architecture (INFO DIV data bus). These versions are not compatible with vehicles with the older AEE2004 architecture as the Data network protocols are different.

The display also needs to be compatible (Hi Res DG4).

But lots of 307's owner can assemble rt6 unit for their car. My car has CAN electrical system and bsi H series.

Yes, but that does not guarantee anything - look at my post above (I added some additional info to clarify).

We don't know which version of 307 you have MK I or restyled, and we don't know what versions of RT6 you have and what type of screen. They all need to be compatible.

My car is 2006 restyle, the version of rt6 unit which i try to assemble on my car is 2014 2.6

I can't help you with this as there are too many variables to consider. I suggest if you are aware of other 307 owners who have managed the upgrade as you mentioned, that you speak to them directly concerning the issues. One of them may be able to suggest the correct RT6 unit part number and screen. Depending on what system you had before, you may also need an additional wiring harness / loom, aerials and the BSI configured correctly - assuming your hardware and electrical architecture is compatible.

I performed some reseaech about rneg2 and 307 restyle, i recognised that rt6 can2004 is perfectly fit my car.

My question is how can I identify the my rt6 is can2004 or can2010

There is a label on my rt6 , and it says
98 083 776 ZD-00
