HELP - 2016 Peugeot 3008 - What is this part

Post by BigStu09 »

Hi,
While changing brake pads on front n/s this morning I looked and thought something is different on this side compared the the o/s, I stuck my head back under at o/s and took this photo.

o/s has this fixed bar from body to chassis but passenger side doesn't, fixing points are on n/s but it is hard to say whether this bar has ever been on there.
Can anyone confirm if this bar should be on both sides.
If so I think I may struggle to find one, have had a quick look around ebay etc but without part name or number it is difficult and so far found nothing.
Thanks in advance.

It's normal to only be on one side - ignore it.
LHD vehicles have one on the left and RHD vehicles have on on the right. :-D

Thanks for that. I was thinking that there was no sign on anything ever being bolted on there.
