309 GLDT

My son recently bought a 1992-3 309 turbo diesel. Being the base turbo model it has manual sunroof, electric front windows and central locking. He would like to fit a GRDT instrument console as this has a tachometer and a digital clock apparently. Would this fit straight in and work or will the loom need modification or replacement? He has just had the central locking malfunction,replaced the blown fuse and blew the replacement. This is also on the same supply as the interior light and the stereo so Any known problems or weak points there? Any help appreciated.
