My offside passenger door wouldn't close electrically so I cleaned the door contacts which made no difference.
As I was going on holiday, I had to put up with it and close it manually.
The problem is now that it doesn't open or close electrically at all now. I can still hear a sound when I press the button.
Regards
John

Re: C8 electric doors
It's a difficult one without getting it diagnosed. If it's the anti-pinch it would try and close then rebound - if it's not even closing or opening, then other possibilities include the wiring to the electric motor, or the motor reducer itself may have worn out.
