Hi All,
After replacing rear drop links and longitudinal arms the car now veers to the left and my drive over Slip Gauge tells me I have at least twice as much toe-in on the left compared to the right.
I purchased the Trackrite gauge after getting fed up with tyre bays telling me tyre scrub on my Mk1 C5 was due to me striking kerbs. It cost less than 1 tyre and I've never suffered tyre scrub since. ( first used one in the early 70's on rubber suspension Mini's ) This has continued to be the case with my C5 X7.
So my quandary is -having little faith in tyre bays setting front toe-in what chance rear multi-link. So hopefully armed with accurate data I'll be in a position to double check their laser settings data, through work I have a relationship with the tyre bay manager which will smooth this path.
So hopefully "Give Me A Break" can come to my rescue as a source for settings.
