Back in May, I bought a new car cover from Amazon, for around £35, for the BX — which I need to protect from the harsh UV sunlight here.
Stated to be multi-layer (cotton/polyethylene/aluminium...) waterproof and UV reflective.
After just three months' use, it has dropped to pieces. Holes and tears have appeared in it, and it is falling apart. It is now being returned to Amazon.de for a complete refund.
Disappointingly, almost all of Amazon's covers look as if they come from one Chinese manufacturer, but sold under a whole range of names and labels.
Can anyone recommend a good and durable cover, UV/weather resistant, below £100? There are some 'bespoke' ones at two or three times this price, but that's too much for me.
Decent quality car cover needed
