2006 407 coupe 2.7 hdi radiator fan on a switch ?

Unread post by stan21 »

Does anyone know where the wiper motor is on a 407 coupe 2006 model.

I would like to manually wire the radiator fan to the wiper motor wires ?

So i can use the wiper lever on the steering wheel as a variable switch fir the fan.

I will be sacrificing wiper function yes but thats fine if it is doable ?

I'm not so sure this is a good idea.... You have dual motors on this car - that operate each wiper motor separately - but work in a master / slave configuration and are multiplexed. You could end up with other issues if you start attacking the wiring...

What is the problem that makes you want to think of doing this?

Thanks i simply wanted manual speed control on the motors bu you just made me realize its going to be problematic thanks.

What would be the easiest solution.
I simply want the radiator fans to turn on manually. But i cannot find a way to get a wire from the engine of this car through to the cabin.

I dont see a hole behind the glovebox if this car.
