Hi Everyone,
I was wondering how feasible it would be to convert my manual mirrors to electric ones.
Its a 306 XS 1.6 P (Jan 1997) not the new shape, If i had the electric mirrors and switch, how diffucult would it be to wire it all up.
Has anyone tried this, if so let me know if you had any success.
Kind regards, TiM

You will need the inner door loom and possibly a relay adding into the box under the steering column. The inner car loom is already equiped for all the extras as it is a standard loom for all 306's. Best way to check is have a look through your manual for fuses and relays to do with leccy windows and mirrors, makes sure they are there then just try and get a door loom from a scrappy and give it a go. Swapping the looms isnt that difficult as it is just a big multiplug.
Hi, sounds promising.
What do you mean by a door loom (wiring loom i know) would this just connect from the fusebox or might there be a connection near the inner mirror already in place. Would there be a connection for a switch in the door already. I will have a look tomorrow and see what i can find. Cheers for the info.
