Citroen c5 2010 park lock
Can anyone help with my c5 2010 auto hdi,the lock one the auto stick shift is very slow top activate when putting foot on brake it will eventually release ,is there a fix .thanks Mark

There can be a few causes:
Battery voltage, the "shift lock" mechanism itself, the selector lever position switch, the gearbox ECU or electrical wiring.
Here's how to unlock it manually if the need arises:
Carefully unclip the surround bezel with a trim removal tool.
Unlock the "shift lock" with the aid of a screwdriver - Press on (2) in the direction of the arrow. Move the selector lever to disengage it from the "P" position.
So keep a screwdriver handy in the glovebox just in case it gets worse. You may find the mechanism is a bit worn on investigation.

My partners car is doing exactly the same thing. Did you ever find out what the problem was?
