Bonnet latch come apart

Hi guys,

My C4 bonnet latch has come apart, the spring and plastic patch has come away from the cable. I don't know how to attach images so if anyone could please help with a diagram, pics or videos of how to put this back together?

I imagine it's broken somewhere, best bet is probably to see if you can get a replacement from a local breakers.
