Partner Teepee 1.6 diesel 65 reg water leak

Post by hypographamist »

Hi Guys
I have a strange water leak into the cabin.
It seems to emanate from the roof lining above the door where the 'A' pillar meets the roof lining.
I haven't seen it happen but the lining is damp and discolored and the water has dripped down the internal door skin and
puddled on the drivers floor mat just in front of the seat.
The door seals look good and dry and the leak has occurred during the recent dry spell not when we have heavy rain.
I did use the windscreen washers briefly the journey before the leak was spotted if that's any clue
The car is fitted with standard roof bars which seem firmly attached

Any suggestions welcomed

Thanks

Has it had a replacement windscreen recently?
Have you removed the A pillar trim for a better look?

Hi Wheeler

Windscreen appears to be the original - but who knows with several previous owners

I'll do as you suggest and remove the trim have a look
