Xantia sunroof drains

Unread post by Bruce H »

My Xantia hatchback with the factory sunroof gets a wet back under-seat and floor, whilst the boot seems dry. This happens when parked level. I’d like to check the drains but have no idea where they run - anyone know?

googlesearch?cx=000757428655895309399%3 ... mit=Search should give some clues. I think that Citrojim once did a pictorial guide, but I can't immediately locate it.

Thanks enormously, this second link is exactly what I was after. I’d obviously used the wrong terms for the forum search, as I was at the end of the fifth page of results and still hadn’t found this.

Bruce I presume you have checked the sealant in the shallow gutter behind the tops of the rear doors? Longitudinal cracks developed in what I assume was the original flexible sealant on my SX wagon, which I'm sure resulted in water under seats and in the rear footwell, as well as water in the boot. Took me ages to find - just wasn't looking in the right places.

One of the first things I checked was the (non-genuine) sunroof - it was (and is) sealing perfectly.

Cheers
