807 Door cards

Unread post by Romtag »

Hi All,

It's been a while! - the dadvan has been behaving itself and even deployed to tow a caravan around Wales for a week... The horseshoe pass was exciting! :-&

Anyway, I am really annoying squeaking side door panel, and I wondered if any of the FCF Oracles were able to post a schematic of the screw parts (as when I looked I couldn't see them all...), Secondly I also understand the door trim can be taken off with the side door in situ?

I'm hoping a bit of WD40 will fix it :)

Hi Mark, there's a slight technical issue with the Forum at present, where we can't upload any images, so once we've looked at the issue, I'll put something up for you.

Ok, here you go:
Rom Rear Door A.PNG
Remove:
  • The window winder (1)
  • Finisher (2) of interior handle
Rom Rear Door B.PNG
  • Unfasten the trim (3) of the front door pillar.
  • Remove the mountings (4).
  • Unfasten the panel (5) around the edge, not forgetting the central clip .
  • Remove the panel (5) by sliding it up.
Note: When refitting the door trim, check the positioning of all the fastenings before clipping them in on the door.
