Using Lexia on a C5 X7 Tourer

Post by citroC5 »

Hello everyone,

I haven't been here for a while but there's something I'd like to ask. I've looked for answers on this forum, youtube videos etc., and I can't find the answer. Well, I tell a lie, I've found the answer to two of three questions, and I'm trying to find an answer to the third.

I'm thinking of buying a cable bundle to use lexia with my C5 X7 for three specific things:
1) turn on DRLs (I've read it's possible)
2) deactivate folding mirrors when locking car (I've read that's possible too, from an answer Marc gave)
3) deactivate auto wipers and make it just a single wipe. This is what I'm not sure is doable. I haven't got on with the auto wipers, as they're rarely at the speed I want them. I miss having that single wipe, or "mist function" as I believe it's called, as it was immensely practical for many a situation.

Thanks in advance and apologies for any poor formatting, I'm on mobile.

I am not 100% but I think you can change the auto wiper sensitivity with quite a broad value. Maybe you could adjust this figure and be happier with it if you can’t deactivate it entirely.

I am not aware of any adjustment value for this. The sensor has no configuration options listed. It has a dual function for the brightness and the rain sensitivity, and my understanding is it is pre-programmed. There are no BSI options for changing these values.

If you just want it on manual control put the stalk on single speed or intermittent.
