new battery

i had a new battery back today ,
i had it off line the battery is o12 079 battery 52ah been told it is brand new
fitterd to car today and it did start first time but after it was running and then turned off
it would not start ,so i had to give the car a bit throtle to start which it did and ran as normal
this as happend every time i want to start the car is the battery not powerfull to use on the car
car is c2 1.4 airplus petrol 2007

Hi. Measure voltage on battery, not connected in the car. If new and full, it should have at least 12,5V. If voltage under 12V try to charge it with charger, but there is a possibility it is bad/wasted.

The battery you have sounds slightly under-powered - do you have your vehicle VIN so I can check what you should have?
